Do people even read these threads? It seems like they just respond...
Everyone needs to realize that everyone else in this thread is coming from a different place in the eve food chain!
To everyone who commented: "I have no problem scramming people", "2x +2s works fine", "1x +2 rarely fails", etc.
If you are hunting carebares, gate ganking, trashing npcers, ransoming the tar out of miners, etc. Yes they do work just fine, infact I haven't personally seen many lost Jita lovers that fit more then +2 WCS...
To everyone who commented: "bring more friends"
That is what everyone is doing and everyone whines "why is it always a gank, nobody is willing to fight alone anymore"
To everyone who commented: "Why should pirates be able to hold me down if I am smart enough to fit all my lows with wcs"
Fair enough... I personally have no problem with that... but you realize the reason why everyone is up in arms isn't because they are trying to kill you but because they are trying to kill the pirates trying to kill you!

Yeah... that is in my opinion the main problem
What are the real problems with WCS? The fact that they only "gimp" some ship set-up. What great penalty do Caldari ships suffer for fitting WCS? Now if we are talking about an Amarr ship fitting 5x WCS, he has screwed his set-up completly. He is going to be too short on CPU to fit out the rest of his slots and is going to have no tank.
WCS have become not a tool to escape PvP like they were intended they have become a tool used by PvPers to make it virtually impossible to catch them. With all the other techniques PvPers have to escape fitting 2x or 4x WCS makes it virtually impossible to catch them.
For everyone that is about to comment "you are just stupid"... keep it to yourself. We kill plenty of people everyday, however we both know how stabbed out pirates act. Sure, I bring my stilleto. They are SSing 5 seconds after they see it on scanner. They even think there is more then one person floating around to scram them they SS for 15 minutes then log in space... the list goes on.
